Comprintmetal3d 5 Project partner

Budget Partner

In addition to the project partners, other strategic partners support the project. Through direct cooperation, the applicability of additive manufacturing can be tested and implemented immediately.

We appreciate the support of the following partners:

Trier University of Applied Sciences - Environmental Campus Birkenfeld
As a lead beneficiary leads Environmental-Campus Birkenfeld of Trier University of Applied Sciences, is implementing the INTERREG project ComPrintMetal3D together with the budget partners University of Luxembourg, Any-Shape and htw saar.

In the following list we present you the team.
– Trier University of Applied Sciences – Environmental Campus Birkenfeld
The guidelines for applied research at the ECB call for a thematic orientation towards issues of the material cycle and sustainable development. In addition, great importance is attached to the networking of research and teaching through the participation of students in the research projects. The research facilities at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld are about 4,000 m² in size.

Although the Environmental Campus has only existed since 1996, a number of institutes and competence centers have already been founded in this short time in order to bundle scientific activities and to ensure a better external presentation. These institutions, some of which are internationally known beyond the region, can be found linked here on the following pages.

Under the guidance of these institutions, a significant amount of third-party funding for research and industrial projects is attracted.

The required tasks are handled by a considerable number of project staff with mainly temporary contracts.Further information about the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld can be found here. The Environmental Campus Birkenfeld is in charge of the project.
